Deepfake is a phenomenon that is gaining momentum. Facebook is even trying to fight the problem and decided to ban the publication of such videos. Now, the Redmond giant is joining the fight against image manipulation with a tool called Microsoft Video Authenticator.
Microsoft Video Authenticator is capable of analyzing photos or videos for features that are not necessarily visible to the naked eye. This can be, for example, borders that appear between the original image and the added elements, or slight fading.
